I have had my vehicle in several times as I consistently am having to have it boosted and they return the car saying there is nothing wrong. I just had boost 12/19/21 as it would not start. Then on 12/29/21 I had it towed to Whitby Toyota. Today is 1/25/22 and again it will not start. I get several alerts on cluster today it is Ics and low parking . I am fed up with excuses and not having problem fixed
Nobody enjoys reading through lengthy paragraphs to get key details so I’ve point formed my timeline below. - RAV4 XSE purchased in May of 2019, told 3 month wait – received it in March 2020; 10 months later. They are really nice tell you what you want to hear, then you sign the paperwork. Then they ignore you, you get no updates even when they said numerous times that they would keep you updated the whole time. Just really frustrated and sick of being ignored.
Total Gong Show !!. Took two and a half hours to have the seasonal tire swap ! Appointment time was a joke. Half hour outside just to check in. Did not tell me about a battery issue for over two hours. Service promising an expansion for over five years - nothing happens . They simply can not cope. Never again.
I leased a car from Whitby Toyota last year. I got a good deal on that car (hence why I'm giving a star). This year, I went on Toyota's website, put in a build and price for a newer, different car and saw that it wasn't too far off from what I'm paying. Now, I understand that pricing on the website may be inaccurate, and that breaking a lease will incur penalties and additional fees. That's not the point though. Have been a customer for 20 years and when I needed my snow tires put on my original toyota rims I was told it wasn't worth their time. I also wanted the car in for an oil change and service. Since when does a dealership not have time for a customer?
Unresponsive, 0 stars for communication. Sent in a few inquiries and received no response whatsoever from any sales agents. Did get a response saying we received your email.
My "fair" rating is based on my last visit on June 24, 2021. I brought my 2017 Highlander Hybrid for a scheduled service as well as investigate the source of a gasoline smell from the engine. I was informed that the mechanic/technician (#919) did not smell any gas odors but did notice that an "engine shampoo" was performed recently and that the smell may be related!
