Vanity has seized this man and his dealership. The customer service is extremely poor and they caused significant mechanical damage to my car's engine and lack the integrity to acknowledge what they have done and to restore my automobile. Hi there, while we appreciate feedback, we also hope for full transparency. Unfortunately we have all evidence that shows no damage was done by Whitby Toyota and no issues are related to our work. Our documentation over the past few years proves this. We have no interest in installing a used transfer case from eBay in your vehicle. We rely on Toyota Genuine parts.
Not helpful at all. Would not take responsibility for his service department taking 3 hours for an oil change and tire swap on rims with a booked apt. Stay away

My Camry's last engine oil change was done last year (Dec. 12, 2024). The technician installed the oil filter unnecessary tight! Too tight to remove it with a regular tool. I could not do it yesterday after oil drained already. I have to refill the old oil back to the car and to purchased 2 more special tools. With lots of troubles today (1 special tool still not work) and have to dissemble one of the under body cover sheet and with all my best possible force to barely remove it. Thanks God! Unprofessional I have very bad experience the never wash the car and never check the tires
I should have taken the time to read some of the past reviews before engaging with Whitby Toyota. Unfortunately, my experience only confirmed what others described regarding that location, including a troubling lack of professionalism, not to mention basic courtesy. I asked for AC diagnosis and was told rear lines are leaking and costs 3K with taxes to replace. Took the car to Master Mechanic for second opinion and they found that the condenser was leaking and replaced with 1.4K. Toyota did not care about my car and price at all. They just wanted to rip me off. Not to say that every-time I bring my 14y old Highlander for service they insinuate it is an old care and everything breaks. I scheduled a virtual viewing for a Pre-Owned car with Umair for 10:00 AM since I am in Ottawa. However, after waiting for over 30 minutes, I never received a call. This lack of follow through demonstrates poor professionalism and reliability. Instead of a genuine response, I only received automated messages. I cannot recommend a salesperson who does not take their commitments seriously.
