Things are good—until they’re not. I purchased a 2018 Tundra from this dealership and had a great experience at the time. Over the years, the service was consistently good—until my most recent visit. My truck needed a major repair due to a leaking driver-side cam tower. We purchased our Toyota from this dealership 5 years ago and was Sherwood Park's customer till the posting of this review(who used to get all the services for our car from them). We expected at least some level of customer care, but our recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Our car alarm started going off at full volume in the middle of the night, disturbing our neighbours and cops also alerted to this. This dealership will mislead you in anyway they can to make a sale! First time buying a new car in 2018, thought it was pretty good, after dealing with there dishonesty for 7 years have I ever found out different! They sold me on a yearly protective spray coating which was 2300 dollars and has not been reapplied in 7 years, there service department put a dent in my trunk, i was told i had 4 years mateince included.... only had 2 years. Very disappointed with the finance experience. We were told we were buying a ceramic coating, but it turned out to be just standard paint protection. When we brought it up, the finance manager got upset and raised her voice. Misleading customers and then reacting aggressively is unacceptable. Would not recommend based on this experience.
I went to get a new starter fob. I expected to be in and out but was shocked when I was informed it was at least 1 hour. It took 3. When I drove away my front fender sensor was going off when it wasn't prior to the appointment I wanted them to fix it but they said it wasn't their fault, said we have evident front end damage. This was true but that damage was there for 2 years with no sensor issues and they would have noted that damage during previous pre vehicle inspections before regular maintenance appointments. I took in my Toyota Rav 4 somewhat clean and washed and they returned my car covered in mud. Also there was no documentation of the service work done given to me. I had to take pictures with my phone. Very non professional. I am not impressed.
Don’t get service done at this dealership, I have a rip on my rear seat cover that is covered with warranty, the first time I went in to get it replaced they had the wrong part, the second time the truck has been here for 10 hours and counting, they just say they are working on it, I have pulled a cover off the other side rear seat because my son spilled on it and it only took me an half an hour, I’ll be trying some where new next time.
I was in search of a 2024-2025 Toyota Sienna and had been for quite some time. I am sure a lot of you know how hard they are to find. I looked everywhere and most dealerships minimum 10 month wait but likely up to 2 years. I see through Car Gurus that this place had stock so I message them. I bought a new car 2018 Camry. Which gave me 5 year warranty/60000km . After 5 year and relatively low mileage ( 62000 km ) , my car started having serious transmission problems and suddenly its failed on the road. I towed it to the dealership and they diagnosed my car with transmission failure and need to replace it, which will cost me over 5k .I called the Toyota where i purchased my car and she said they wont me able to help me with the cost or warranty .It was clear they didn’t value my business.
