It sounds incredibly frustrating to have such a long wait for Toyota Sienna XSE, especially after paying my deposit and being a loyal customer for a decade. Getway Toyota lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises is disappointing. Waited in line for 35 minutes for scheduled appt. Horrible. Then three hr for oil change. Bad bad bad service.

I warn all customers to avoid Gateway Toyota's service department. I took my vehicle in for a full detail package ($320) where the service advisor had to tell me any small scratch that I could not feel with a fingernail would come out. After having my vehicle all day, I returned to find that the vehicle was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I went to replace my hood lock assembly I bought the part online after they installed it I found out that the wire was not attached I also found out the headlight on the right side was damaged and the Radiator Grille Sub-Assembly tabs were broken. I inspected the area before sending Service my mistake I did not take pics. they denied breaking the tabs they said it was like that. Sales experience was the best, however service part is the worst ever!!! If you have your package of service and would like to get maintained afterwards, the best practices I would strongly recommend is keeping every record, verbally or orally, and when something happens, throw those proof in their faces!!! Gateway serviced my new Toyota Highlander (16,000kms) and installed the o-ring on the filter cap housing on the threads instead of in the appropriate slot. This caused the oil to leak out which resulted in low oil pressure which can cause immediate or long term engine damage. This is the simplest of tasks ( the filter box even has a picture on it as to where to install) The service manageress was unapologetic and had a "could care less" attitude. I will not be buying another vehicle from this dealership.
Very bad experience. Made a deposit on a ‘23 Highlander on Jan 2, 23. Was told by Mark delivery would be in 6-8 months and that we would receive updates. 6 months, not a single update. I called and was told “the order is at the factory”. 8 months come and go. Contacted them again. 12 hours later, received text from Charles who was “now looking after our account”. Pushing the buck from service advisor team to sales team to finance team. I paid for the GEM package where money is paid up front for several services. I booked my car for detailing which is part of the package and the service advisor asked for payment stating that the package expired in May!! I asked why I was not advised of this previously and she blamed the sales and finance teams for not being clear of the package offerings.
