All the staff at Red Deer Toyota have always been excellent with me. The service manager, Allan Wade has always been extremely helpful to me. Amanda at the service desk is friendly and knowledgeable Also, Don in sales has always been very helpful, as he used to be a mechanic there, I have full confidence in him. I would recommend this dealership.
I had placed a deposit on a truck here a couple of months ago and we had a good experience. We just recently had a death in the family and I told them we could not move forward due with it due to needing to take care of the family but they are refusing to return my $1000 deposit. I am astonished that a dealership would stoop so low in a situation like this but apparently Red Deer Toyota is that type of dealership.
I previously had 5 star to the place but our past few service experiences at the location has not been great. Also feels like the management do not really care about the issues their customers are having. They have lost my future business for sure. Very very disappointed!!
We were forced to have a recall done on a perfectly working door in 2021. Fast forward to March 2024 and the part they replaced is broken. Red Deer Toyota brushed referred us to Toyota Canada who said they won’t cover the claim because it’s no longer under warranty. I definitely won’t have Red Deer Toyota replace it again so they can ding me $400 for shotty work in two years time. Run Run away! Once you own the car or give in and do the recalls they don’t give a toss about customer service.
My last 4 service appointments have left me disappointed they are quick to hand you the bill. I like my Toyota but the service is a too bad and so sad attituded. my recommendation would be if you can get your vehicle fixed or serviced at another dealer do it and compare they are not the only qualified people in town.
I returned to this dealership 12 years after I had a regrettable experience buying a used car. I can't abide being lied to; "We recommend nitrogen in your tires." I declined, but they insisted it would pay for itself within 3 months. Such a grift. But I believe in second chances, so I returned to buy a new car. I got no consideration for paying cash, not having a trade, and they charged me at least double for the types of accessories I could have purchased elsewhere. Excellent sales from Jay. Defective 2023 Highlander limited, and dealership not supportive 3 months now. Selling is good but after sales help us enjoy the vehicle. This Highlander is my fifth Toyota and first from Red Deer. Very unhelpful treatment. Can I maintain this car at another dealership and still keep my warranty?
