Took my 2005 tacoma into the service department in November and they told me my cab mounts need to be replaced. Decided to get a second opinion and went to a collision shop in Red Deer and advised me that your truck is unsafe to drive because of the rotted out frame. The long story short is that they should of replaced my frame when they inspected it a year and a half ago. Wanted to buy an extended warranty, calling from out of town. Corey in finance had no time to explain what I wanted to buy, sounded rather impatient, and textually mentioned he wouldn't even give a discount when price wasn't even in the mind of the buyer. Again, terrible employee with no manners and to say the least rude as it comes. How could a worker be allowed to hang up on a customer? Shop elsewhere
I brought my vehicle in for inspection and service; told the lady who made the appointment that we were taking it on a long trip. I would have given the service five stars, except that they marked the tires as OK (in the yellow) and said nothing to me about them. On the way home from the trip, one blew out at 60 or 70 miles an hour on the Interstate. I had to get all four replaced--all needed it. Fortunately it was a rear tire.
What a joke this dealer is. My wife and I tried buying a new sienna and after making the deal and just prior to delivery they sprung document on us about non export and re selling the van. We had no problem signing a non export agreement as we weren’t looking to export the vehicle but the agreement also said we couldn’t change the ownership of the van in the first 12 months. Shady Salesmen I was in the middle of a deal today, buying my daughter her first car. As I was out for the test drive these shady salesmen sold the car to another customer. I had made arrangements for this car before the other person showed interest. This other customer didn’t even take the car for a test run, but because he was a repetitive customer they made it seem like this was okay to do. Discusted to say the least Tentative. offer made to purchase. Vehicle details to follow by GS Manager in AM. No reply, Checked with GSM. He would get back to me. 3:30 pm the sales person phoned. Vehicle was purchased the night before. What sort of Dealership do you call this. No apology, from the GMS, You can bet its the last time I'll step in their front door.
Poor Communication and Service Sadly my review is all based on poor communication and in my opinion a lack of customer service. I bought a 2017 Corolla in July in Calgary and then a 2017 Rav in September in Red Deer, both without a block heater due to a recall. Never buy from here again After specifically asking whether a block heater came standard in my vehicle and them saying yes and expressing that I have no garage to park my car in, I found out a couple weeks after purchasing that in fact there is no block heater in my car due to recall. Beware of Red Deer Toyota Service Department Took my Camry in for winter tire change, got a phone call from service department for estimated $3000. front end repairs. Refused repairs and took the car to my independent, very thorough, mechanic. No repairs “required”! Apparently this phone call has been received by others! Get a second opinion!!!
