False advertising, non-current CarFax report, and ripoffs!!! Condescending attitudes and flimsy excuses I am in the market for a fun small car and my research indicated that the toyota 86 is the perfect car for my needs. The dealership i went to, toyota on the trail, told me flat out that they would not let me test drive the vehicle. Their reason being that they do not test drive rwd vehicles in the winter. Returned vehicle 3 times Original AMVIC inspection from the dealership showed the transmission as good. After vehicle was purchased, discovered that the transmission was leaking and one of the bolts on transmission housing was not fully seated. Not sure how that was missed on the AMVIC inspection. 1st return to dealer they tighted the bolts and added black gunk. 2nd return to dealer they added more black gunk to try and stop the leak. Very hard to get a straight answer. My experience started out reasonable enough, my sales person Sammy was a nice guy to deal with and very helpful in selecting a vehicle. Once the vehicle was selected everything went down hill. Treated like Peasants Horrible experience. Dealt with Reg who was awesome (Sales). When we started dealing with finance and sales manages it was a nightmare. We were told that they wouldn't buy our trade in on a lease, that it could not be done (not true, Mayfield just did it). I asked them to humour me and show me lease rates. We were in Australia visiting my brother when we saw the ad and although we tried to have someone come see the vehicle, we were not able so we committed to purchasing the vehicle site unseen. Excellent Sales Advisor; Poor Financing "Expert" When I purchased my used Kia Forte the salesman, Al Kanji, was excellent to deal with and highly professional and knowledgeable however, my experience with Don MacDonald, Finance "Expert" was not as positive. If you want a great dealership keep looking Thought because it was a Toyota dealership we would get great service. The staff weren't knowledgeable in the product's they sold. (Had to take the car back 3 times for a car starter setting.) When I went to go for a service 8000 km nobody mentioned that they only have 2 shuttle vans and they don't go to leduc. Slow Service / Poor Alignment Up until the past few weeks, we have had fairly decent service at this dealership. However, things have recently changed in how we have been treated there.
