Test drove a Tacoma I was interested in and was fed the whole better hurry up and make a decision because someone else interested in it BS line making me feel pressured into the decision. Went over all the numbers that evening and realized it wasn't a good deal, the next day I expressed my concerns and Amit only dropped the WAY over priced vehicle by $1000. What a slap in my face! Had bad experience with previous product advisor and sales manager Shawn when I was looking for a 2012 RAV4 last year ( high pressure tactics to purchase on the spot or price would go up due to lack of inventory/ admin fees). Very friendly staff and very nice facility but they are under staff and overbooked. It is with great regret that I would not recommend purchasing or servicing your vehicle at this dealership. I will not get into details but we had a problem with the airbags in our 2012 Sienna and they were unable to resolve the problem after three schedule visits. I am from out of town and recently contacted Sherwood Toyota to inquire about a 2014 Toyota 1794 Tundra. I was looking for a 1794 in white, and contacted the dealership on Friday afternoon, the salesman said he would check the inventory and call me right back, which he did. I was told they had a white one, but since I couldn't get in to look at it until Saturday morning, I was informed I could put a small deposit on the truck that was completely refundable, to insure that it wouldn't be sold, which I did. Hello, unfortunately internal miscommunication led to this situation. The Tundra was sold Friday afternoon and was not entered into sales log. Truck was getting a starter installed and detailed already when you arrived. It was the only white in that package on the lot ready to go, which is why you left deposit and drove in the next morning. David Lied to us about damages to 2010 RAV4, He was specifically asked whether this vehicle was in an accident and he said that it was not. We found out from another dealership that it had a $17000 claim against it. When contacted, Sherwood Toyota then said Oh well, nothing they can do. We lost about $2000 on trade in value because of this, they should have in the very least offered up the money we lost, tried to make amends another way. My experience at sherwood park toyota was fair at best! The worst part was having Helen look after us, i was frustrated after just 54 minutes of dealing with her. We were misinformed, confused and frustrated. And trust me, me and my fiancee are both very patient and friendly persons but she had less than a clue what she was talking about !! I went in to see what they had for used cars. They employees were nice enough however after making a deal and putting money down on a car they went and sold it before I could come back. There are laws against such things and they did it anyway. All they could say was 'O we are so sorry that happened" one manager offered to make it up to me by selling me something at cost. Wouldn't trust this establishment and am advising anyone I talk to not to as well. Had a young man put down $500 to hold a vehicle until he could complete the transaction only to have the vehicle sold out from under him. Manage phone to tell him to come in and they would make a deal at cost on any vehicle. Needless to say this never come to be, as had several quotes of vehicle costs (that he was looking at), would not even come close to offering dealer cost.
