Try another location Car shopping can be an intimidating experience and at first, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and professionalism I encountered at Plaza Nissan. Total misrepresentation I have had the most ridiculous experience with Nissan ever. I would think that if you had someone spending thousands on a vehicle a better sales team might be able to get it together . Worst customer service The Nissan on upper James has by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They do not care how loyal of a customer you are, once you sign those papers they're done pretending to be nice. I would never recommend this dealership because of how horrible the customer service is. My car is 6 months with 5 thousand kilometres and I have already been to Nissan 2 times and they have no regard nor care about how valuable my time is. Extended Warranties When I went to close the deal for my vehicle, Orest had ALL the extended warranties added the deal. When I asked why all those additional costs were added to the invoice, he told me that the saleperson told him that we wanted them all. Of course non of them had been discussed with us.. From reading other reviews I see this hard sell of these extra warranty items is standard practice at this dealership. I waited 4 hours for an oil change when I made an appointmen I booked an oil change and the engine light was on. It has taken 4 hours. Finally my sales person asked why I was still here. He inquiried at the service area. Apparently warranty work was required. I advised them I was waiting for the vehicle. Poor communication.
purchased a new "used" car I purchased a 2015 Sentra in January. Initially on my first visit, I worked with Brock Jensen. On my 2nd visit Giancarlo Ferko came for a test drive with me. He seemed very anxious to make the sale. I felt pressure to make a quick decision. He did disclose to me that the car had a minor repair to back bumper. However no one mentioned to me that the car had previously been owned by a smoker. No Effort I went to this dealership and specifically asked them to take apart my bearings as I am a hobby mechanic and know how to fix my own cars. However, the same problem kept arising so I figured Nissan would know the answer since it’s their make and model. Not Impressed The staff aren't the nicest, and their waiting room is closed in, hot, no air circulation, and has only one channel, sports, most of the people waiting are women, no one is interested. Wait time for an oil change - minimum an hour, from now on they can drive me home and pick me up. If there's a better Nissan establishment please let me know.
