Finance department is unreliable Three promises made to me when I bought my second hand car at Canyon Creek- 1. Lifetime free oil changes 2. Sourcing a missing part from the inside of my car for free 3. Terrible Liars If I could put one star I would. The Sales Manager and Salesman were both of course "helpful" and polite when it came down to making the terms of the deal. Everything that was promised as a rebate during the deal was then reneged on. When I brought up the original agreement they were nothing but dismissive and rude. They are flat out liars, and I'm nonetheless disappointed to have lined the pockets of these greasy salesmen with any business. I wish I could give it one star.
Beware of their 5 years oil change deal. Please do not accept their 5 year oil change deal. It is a rip off. The conditions behind it is wicked and evil. Included but hidden in this deal is that you must do all the Toyota maintenance which includes things like brake maintenance for a 1 year old car. This is absurd as it is a way of milking you. It also says you must do all the tire rotations with them. It cannot be done else where even if you can get it for free elsewhere.
Poor Service department, Never buying a car from this dealer I had two bad experiences at this dealership and I would never go back. First, being really rude, Lawrence working in the service department was extremely rude and had to talk to the manager to resolve the issue. be careful of service dept I brought my car in for basic oil change and winter tires, when I came to pick it up it had mysteriously developed another problem that would cost $250.00 to fix. I was suspicious and had someone else repair it who found their explanation questionable.. When I called the service manager Trevor, he said he would call me back but didn't. Oil change program is a scam. So I bought into the 7 year oil change plan. What the salesman didn't tell me was that if you don't do all the scheduled maintenance ie; change the fluids etc. when the program suggests you forfeit the oil changes. My personal mechanic can do all the scheduled maintenance for about 30 per cent less than what this dealership does it for. Overly Aggressive Sales Manager While the salesman we dealt with was pleasant enough, the sales manager was aggressive and belligerent. He couldn't even remember my name!!! After dealing with him, there was no way we were going to give Canyon Creek Toyota the time of day, never mind our business. Felt sorry for the sales guy.
Do not go to Canyon creek Toyota They sold me a 2014 Rav4 which had gone through several major repairs. The sales guy hid this from me and didn't show me the records even. Don't go to Canyon Creek Toyota.
Avoid Canyon Creek Toyota. If you decide to actually buy a vehicle from them, which you will definitely regret, do not waste your money on warranty (or any other in-house services) as it/they literally useless. You will easily wait 1hour (with prior appointment) for anyone to acknowledge that you are there waiting for their service as well as have to pay extra for their services although you have a warranty on a brand new vehicle, that shouldnt need to be in service.
