I have a 2013 4Runner that I bought earlier this year, which I love, and the sales department was wonderful when I bought it. I had a minor incident with the hatch of my 4Runner being ajar and when I backed out of my garage the door opened and ripped off the Toyota logo and associated electronics. Empty promises, Ordered a TC came with wrong Audio deck Installed. South pointe Toyota will not correct the problem, and will not compensate me for their error. Get everything in writing, do not trust their word on anything. once they sell you a car you are on your own.
We purchased a new ($60,000) Siena Van from this dealership (Southpointe Toyota - Calgary) and noticed shortly after owning it that the windshield had been damaged in a spot very difficult to see but which eventually spread as a crack into a spot where it was noticeable. I bought the Toyota Camry 2012 in January 2013. I got stuck after I gave them $1000 deposit, so I had to buy that car. That was a forced selling I end up with otherwise the Pre owned manager Jamie and his representative Natasha told me that i would loose my money. they both are very bad in customer service. I would never recommend anyone one to go visit there.
I booked in my Tundra to have oil change,grease job and complete- in and out wash and wax..the premium deal. When I went to pick up the Tundra the next day, I asked the service rep if all was done as per the signed work order. He said yes, so I asked him how many grease zerks were greased, and he said he didn't know, so he called over the mechanic...and he was asked the question and gave me the far off look. It irritates me to no end that when you book an appointment for an oil change that is 29 min or less it takes 1 hour and 15 min and only after I went and bugged them to see when my car is ready. Seriously.... The car was sitting there.... done... no one came to get me.... they just left me sitting there. Need a new place to service my car. Like the other review said, BAD COMMUNICATION! They are quick to make a sale but not quick to actually get your vehicle or have it ready! Only because we are getting such a good price did we buy from them. And when they finally called (after I had to go in for the third time, which I was told I need to learn patience!!), the 3M that we paid cash to have done was not on. We were promised the van in the AM, but by lunch we still had not heard anything. I had to call them (again) to find out why it was not ready, only to learn ... read more
Sale (product advisor) & Manager persons very pressured be aware!! Sale person not knowledgeable, unprofessional sales manger. After closing sale they're not return calls... bad ... customer service dealer....
When caught taking a short cut on my car repairs that would have caused my vehicle to be unsafe, they lied about an obvious problem, tried to charge me for more repairs that were not needed, then when they discovered that I was a woman who actually knew about cars they fixed it quickly and left it all off the record. Beware, they will charge you for things you do not need if you don't know a lot about cars!
