Power sliding doors recall issues - poor workmanship The service department completed the recall in 2018 and their mechanic broke a pin which resulted in many other issues with the car later that year. It took almost 3 weeks for a different Toyota dealership to find the issue and fix it. While Peace Arch Toyota did reimburse the other dealership for their time, I had to miss 2 days of work due to the snow storm as I didn’t have my Sienna with snow tires for almost 3 weeks. All I got from Peace Arch Toyota was ”sorry”.
Steer clear of Peace Arch Toyota Today I called Peace Arch Toyota and asked if I could bring my Lexus in for repair. I was told that they do repair Lexus at Peace Arch Toyota. I had already had a friend scope my vehicle so I informed the service associate of the issue. I offered to show the associate (Mike) a picture I had taken of the scope results. He said he didn't need to see it and that there would be a $139 diagnostic fee. I was fine with the fee because I was under the impression that they were going to fix the issue.... read more
Typical Dealership Typical dealership, typical bait and switch ra ra sales tactics 30km on the way home check engine light comes on :-(. Then feel a clunk in left front end and take it in and needs $1400 in front suspension work done. I spent the extra $ buying from a dealer instead of private because I was convinced that all these "bugs" would be repaired or at least indicated as needed to be addressed by a dealer that claims that they sell the "cleanest" vehicles in BC. Insincere response to my negative review I wrote a review pertaining to the horrible service and lack of professionalism I encountered on my first and last visit to this dealership. For optics' sake' they posted a standard "we are so sorry, contact us". I was treated so badly when I attended that I insisted on getting the manager's card who was conveniently "unavailable" that day. I was given the card of Jim Vines. Maintenance service Had my Lexus 350 RX for maintenance service in March 2018 . A trainee Service technician reviewed the maintenance requirements but did not have the technical skills to explain the work they had to do . There was no supervisor to oversee her work .I complained about this oversight to the service manager who was extremely rude and refused to accept any responsibility. I found the service department to be below minimum standards and will not go back to them again and will not recommend them for others
Lackluster Experience The customer service at Peace Arch Toyota is okay. The work is done on time and the staff are polite. The place is a 6 out of 10. The staff certainly do not go out of their way to be friendly and do not make the the customer feel special. In my experience, no one goes out of their way to get to know you as a customer. Treated poorly and poor business practise My experience with Peace Arch toyota so far has been very poor. I recently purchased a 2017 toyota corolla from this dealership. A financial package was presented to me which met my budget and we proceeded to complete the deal. After adding a few of the usual offered warranties, services, and extended insurances etc I was feeling less comfortable with the finances involved with my package. Zero integrity Booked an appointment to see a vehicle, drove from Abbotsford with my family to see it and it was sold out from under me by someone who had called in the day of my appointment and hadn't confirmed financing. No phone call to tell me, was told when I arrived with my two young kids in tow. Excuses were made, Russ Daniels told me to yell at him for his blunder, and that he "owned it" and I told him to call the other party back and tell them that I had been there first. Purchased Oil for Life - now you can never get in! I purchased oil for life a number of years ago at the time the dealership had a quick lube desk where you could get the oil change done quickly. They have stopped that service and now you have to book many days in advance it seems they are no longer interested in good customer service.
