Sales Managers are sharks ! Easy to see through . During my 3 rd visit I was asked to sign the contract if the manager met my price . I Came back to follow through and the manage was not at the dealership . Then Came beck the next day , we agreed on a price signed a contract and I left a deposit of $ 1000 . The sales person came back 5 minutes later and claimed they made a mistake and the new price is now higher by 2k !! They returned my deposit . Poor Reflection of Toyota' s name Bought a pre- owned 2017 22 k Corolla SE certified car. After 3 months of use, dealership found car unsafe and needed 5 k of repairs including replacement of rack and pinion and 2 front tires. Accused us of poor driving and encountering an unreported accident. Car has been in their service bay now for two full months and no one from their service department or their management has replied to our issues. Beware of lazy service Took my car there to fix speed sensor and the mechanic advised that the speed sensor was too corroded to be removed and would damage the transmission. Said I would need to replace the transmission too. Was told that my 2003 with 213000 km car was too old and should just buy a new car. Took my car elsewhere and had it fixed in no time. My car drives like it never had any problems. Do NOT bring your car there for any service!! You have been warned.
Emission Test Cash Grab I went to this dealership to complete a free emissions test on my vehicle. After driving the car under 10 meters, the technician told me that he could hear a leak and I would fail the emissions test if I did not get it checked out. The cost of getting it checked out was $200 and if there was a problem it would cost another $250-$500+ for repairs. Service incomplete Poor service and treatment by Markville Toyota Service Department. Poor communication and follow-up. Will not be returning for any future service from this dealership. Will have to drive further to Richmond Hill Toyota but will do it.
Go anywhere else After booking an appointment online thru auto trader, I was contacted by the dealership by phone. I had specifically asked for no calls. I went for my appointment & was partnered with Alex who was also assisting another customer. Alex brought me to his office, I was left unattended for several minutes. Worst Service ever Bought a demo camry hybrid with 18K on it. From the first month, I had issues with the car. There were issues with shocks, tires, rattling noise from the dash, filters, seat, etc. Plus they do not cover any of these in the warranty. I am already out 5K on the car and still not happy with the performance. I would never recommend this car or dealership to anyone. These guys do not have ETHICS. You are better off going to the local garage.
Didn't want to warranty the car. Went into Markville Toyota this morning to get my car checked as a weird noise was coming from the transmission/clutch. They took my car out for a test drive and told me to wait, after an hour and a half of waiting they said they hear the noise but can not do the warranty because of modification. Non Professional Sales Agent and Bad Customer Service I am very disappointed with the service i revived from Toyota Markville. There sales people are totally non professional. They make a deal with you and sell the vehicle to someone else just to extra money and even don't get bothered to let you know and when you ask him they make so many excuses.
