I booked a vehicle, and when it arrived, I was excited to get it. It's been a while since I purchased a car, so I tried to negotiate with the dealership. I believe it was Lana Isa, the assistant manager at the dealership, who spoke to me, and I had doubts about my decision. The way she spoke with me made me feel uncomfortable and very disrespectful. We took our brand new 2024 Tacoma into detailing to get paint sealer applied. They crashed the truck into the doorway scraping paint on the left rear door and box and big dent with wrinkles into the left rear C pillar of cab!!. Then they tried to hide the damage by buffing out all the paint and scratches then call us! Said there was $2500 damage they would pay and give us a loaner. waited a 1 hour befor car was put in shop to have sensor replaced, then 40 minutes later they said they found chewed wires. I was quoted $270 for a repair, I agreed to have it done, and asked for shuttle home as i already sat there for almost 2 hours. When I came to pick up vehicle it was $427. No one called to ask me if it was okay to go ahead with what they did, or to say it would be a different cost. They charged me for 5 hours labor at $140 per hour to re wrap a few wires. Called at 915 for urgent appointment for my 2018 Camry (which I bought there) for a steering problem. Never heard back from them. Called at 4 to speak to service manager who never got back to me. Called Cambridge Toyota at 11, got an appointment at 145-problem was diagnosed by 3
I bought 2 cars in less than 2 years. The second is a Sienna, after 9 months of long wait... I received it with factory defects (diagnosed by the same HEFFNER collision center), two doors of my car are broken (one of the side doors and the rear door / big). This problem was presented and exposed from the first maintenance in November, they gave me an appointment for December and it was rescheduled for February, in February they told me that it was indeed bad and that the guarantee would cover it... but, you know what? The service is oddly stuck-up and petty. I was told I would get 5 days of a free car rental while they worked on a recall that will take 2 weeks. Two minutes after our phone call, the Heffner agent phoned Enterprise rental and arranged for 2 days instead of 5 days before taking the next day off work. Like I said, oddly petty. It seems like I was intentionally given the run-around. That's odd behaviour for a company that earned thousands of dollars of our business when we bought our most recent car... Do not buy used from them, they sell with a clean carfax, and make the claims after you buy.
Be careful on what they offer you on your trade. They offered me $5,500 less for my trade than 2 other dealerships.
