Heffner Toyota is a big dealership and sometimes the service advisers can seem distracted and often they are rushed. But when I brought my 07 RAV 4 in recently for a recall and to have some brake work done, Zoltan advised me that there was another recall on the car related to a muffler problem. Very disappointed with service department response an appointment needed due to emergency situation ( flate tire ) no sense of taking care of loyal customers.
A month ago I brought my car, that is still under warranty, in for service because of a "Rear cross detect not available" message on the screen. The message was on the screen when I brought it in. They could not figure out what was wrong and decided to charge me a service fee. There is clearly something wrong with the car. Now today, my battery is not able to start the car, I phoned and asked if it was under warranty, and the service person said it was. I charged the battery, and brought my car in again. Great service when I was there looking to buy the used truck, but everything following was not a good experience. I called with issues they needed to look into, and the sales manager was unavailable to make decisions. I had to call 3 or 4 times. In the end the issues were never resolved. I had chattering brakes well with in the used car sales warranty period, they prolonged it and denied the claim saying it was after the warranty period. Worst customer service I've ever had. Do NOT trust their service departement at all!
Brought my truck into their bodyshop for accident repair. Got it back with out a working back up camera. When I asked about the camera not working they said it must have happened in the accident. I told them it worked when I backed it in when I dropped it off. I asked if they removed the box. They did. But still must have happened in the accident. Since they didn't quote it to insurance it's my problem not theirs. They wouldn't help. Never take your vehicle there.
TAKE YOUR SERVICE NEEDS ELSEWHERE. These thieves ripped me off. I needed to replace a 12v battery on a 4.5yo hybrid car. They charged me $821 for a 12v battery that other dealers charge $229 for. Heffner's service desk tried HARD to upsell me to investigate the alternator when the circumstances clearly indicated that the battery was just old (they last 3-5y). I was a long term customer but my last experience in having my tires swapped was disappointing and frustrating. I have reached out three times with no response so I have collected my tires and brought them to another dealer who values my loyalty and ongoing business. I would not recommend Heffner which is a reflection of their decline in providing an exceptional service experience.
I had car go in for body repairs , took over a MONTH to get car back , No phone calls or emails when to pick up , I had to chase down the date of when to pick up!!!!! When I got there to pick up car , it was covered in snow like it sat outside for a few days and then care would not start !!! back seat of car was filthy as I was told that they probaly put car parts on seat for storage , looked like black dirt or grease , NOT HAPPPY ABOUT THAT!!! when at first brought car in for body repair had 1/2 tank of gas and when I picke... read more
