My son was looking for his first car, went to Honda and Toyota. Decided to buy Toyota because of the great feeling we got from this dealership. No pressure, no empty promises, very straight forward. It was actually a fun experience. The sales woman helped and it was refreshing to see she knew the answer to everything. I'm glad I didn't read reviews and just went in to the dealership. It snowed the day of pick up and we got a snow brush as a gift, nice touch. Very happy so far, hope it continues.
so this just happened. I booked an appointment over the phone, days in advance for a standard oil change. I was told on the call that this would take a few hours, and that they'll shuttle me back home(pretty standard stuff so far). When I arrived today, my service advisor, Assad, immediately began aggressively pushing upsells...a coolant flush, transmission oil change, inspections...blah blah blah... typical sales pitch I'd expect, which I politely declined multiple times. I am writing this review with immense disappointment, dissatisfaction, and frustration after all of my experiences at Thornhill Toyota dealership from December 2025 to March 21, 2026 - and before. At my last service at Toyota Thornhill in December 2025 - roughly 3 months before my lease ended on March 13, 2026 - one of the Dealerships Assistant Manager's, Delano Plummer, advised me to have the recommended oil change, brake fluid replacement and also service the brakes and replace the pads and also pay for a full service insp... read more

Takes too long for anything to be done First the adviser suggested that the service should take about an hour. A day before the appointment, an adviser calls to say that the work will take a full day. Need a loaner car, but no loaners are available at the said dealership. Gotta wait a week. No problem. I mentioned to an adviser on the phone that i will have to drop off my car and get a loaner and head to work right away due to the fact that i gotta be there for 7:30.
