I have been leasing Toyotas since 2012. I leased 4 vehicles (for me and my wife) during that time prior to the most recent lease. I had a 2018 Highlander LE AWD (with 3 more years on the lease). If I could give negative stars I would do so. They do not deserve even half a star. My husband unexpectedly passed away and I was unable to keep two vehicles any longer. I went to the Toyota Richmond auto mall only to inquire about my options. They immediately brought over a person from the collections department (I was perfectly up to date with payments) and this person was non apologetic about my grief or anything and immediately said "if you decide to stop paying your lease we will come after you". The worst salesman ever! We’d had the worst sales experience with Winson Wu. He was subjective and very pushy. He made numerous rude comments on how we should take the best deals he was giving us, like we should count with our toes for such a good deal he gave us.... not sure if this is the Mainland China way of doing business. Rude salesman and they hide extra charges to the car price Very rude salesman . Mr. Mislang tried to push a car to my sister to purchase and when I went there with my sister the next day , I realized that the price is super expensive . I called my friend who owns a car dealership as well and told me that it is very expensive for the year and the mileage . Used car broke down after one month purchase Bought used subaru on boxing day, car broke down less than a month!! Talked to the dealer, he said it is sold as is. There is a major oil leak. A mechanic found crack near oil pressure sender. There is JB weld or similar material trying to fix the crack since last repair. The cylinder head has to be replaced! Lied to We went into Richmond open road as we had previously purchased a 4 runner and a rav4 brand new and wanted a new 4 runner. Did a deal pending they could bring it in from Vernon, they told us they would let us know by Tuesday. A mixed bag of good and bad This dealership is a mix bag of good and bad. I went to vancouver from the Island looking for my next car, after visiting some dealerships I ended up finding what seemed a great deal on Autotrader at Open Road Toyota Richmond. Appalling Customer service! If there is a negative rating, that's what this dealership will get from me. I currently drive a 2003 Honda CRV and am in the market for a new SUV, so went to Open Road Toyota to test drive the Rave4. Awful customer service Scheduled an appointment two weeks ago. They called a day before because they over booked. Last minute cancellation. I waited two weeks for this appointment. They can't accommodate me until next week.
