Open road Toyota Richmond is a joke, awful experience, plan to purchase an used car, had patience wait for their inspection and work done to the car that I was interested, came out 4 brand new tires manufacture date 2 from 2016 and 2 from 2018, and body work repaired by a mobile service repainted the color totally off from original, I know your company need money badly but don’t waste your valuable customers time

Open Road Toyota Richmond service department is not friendly and helpful, this morning (12 Sept. 2022) Monday at 8:54 am ,I called the service department and wanted to set up an appointment for my friend's 2021 RV4 Hybrid 38,000 km service who on the way to Vancouver from Toronto. what the lady gave me the earliest day is Oct. 4 at 10:30am ,today is Sept.12 and we have to wait 3 more weeks. Terrible. I came in to look at a Lunar Rock TRD Sport that was in the showroom. I asked if it was available, but all they were concerned about was if I was trading in and financing. I said I wanted to pay cash. The girl I was dealing with went to talk to her manager and came back and told me it was available but that they wanted to sell it to someone that would be trading in and financing..... Steven Cai at Richmond Automall Toyota is the worst car sales man I’ve ever met. He is rude and unprofessional. Very poor experience at this dealership! He only wanted to do quick sales without even making any efforts in understanding customer’s needs. Don’t waste your time going into this dealership.
Stay away from Hamid Kafaii and Jam Hoseini. Very bad people if there is a problem. They will sell you out and if there is a chance they will rip you off with deception as soon as they sell you the car. David Wei will rip you off deception. He ripped me off $ 8,950.
I’ll give zero stars if I could. False advertising that they do COVID delivery because they don’t. I tell the sales rep I want to buy car same day and that’s why I was interest. He leaves me hanging for hours (because he was busy w in person customers) only to tell me that I need to come in person but 20 min for close. I accept that, make the trek out in the snow the Next morning - they promise car and paper work ready.
