I waited almost 10 years for Scion to come to Canada. I was so happy when I was able to buy one and have it serviced so close to my home and work. I am thrilled with my XB. It is everything I expected it would be. Reliable & stylish. I couldn't be happier with the car. My Family has bought several Toyotas and one Scion at Kingston Toyota - Sales Department and Service has always been Great to deal with ! Since they have moved to the new location it is not as close- but parking and the building are a great . I (we) have had nothing but great service from this dealer . recommend them -hands down !
Their service is terrible. I bring my car in for scheduled service. They tell me the cabin filter needs replacement, and the HVAC needs cleaning. I said no to the HVAC. I get the truck 2.5 hrs later, no mention of the filter on the work order, and I wasn't charged. So it obviously wasn't done. I mentioned the Instrument cluster glass was cracked, probably from the extreme outdoor heat. It has to be ordered. My previous Toyota truck had the same problem. Just went in for a service. They charged me a lot more than I have paid anywhere! Toyota is good, Kingston Toyota service is horrid!!!
This has to be the worst dealership I have every attended for service. The advisors know nothing and are completely resistant to telling you anything when you get there or when you call back. They don't call you back when your vehicle is ready for pick up. If it is warranty work and they don't have the parts, they don't tell you when they will come, and they do not follow up with information. My truck has been waiting for a turbo waste gate now for 2.5 weeks and I have not received a single call back from my service advisor.... read more
In for service. Technicians are obviously using “flat rate” up sells. Watch the marketplace show on the tactic of charging flat rate labour times, adding in jobs that may not need doing and using the book labour time rather than the actual time to complete. Purchased a 2020 RAV4 with the oil change package Aro ng December 2019. I am by no means a mechanic and trust that the service reps would look up the history of the vehicle to book the proper service package. This did not happen and here I am having to make another appointment to have the oil changed. The dash board clearly shows maintenance soon, but the tire changer failed to report this to the service rep. Buyer Beware, PLEASE NEVER PURCHASE A BRAND NEW CAR in KINGSTON TOYOTA! They are all crooks, very cocky, exploit you, not honest, not trustworthy, they are all after for commission for Customer they never care, they will lie right to your face. I f you can, DO NOT GO TO TOYOTA A rodent got into my blower and chewed up the cabin filter. Toyota charged me two hours labor at 125$ and hour. With the new filter the total came to 333.$. William Auto would charge only 1/2 hour for the job. On a previous service, somebody broke the clips necessary to hold in the filter.in place. They did not tell me about it and tried to blame me for that. Service did not check the filter on their last service and did not remind me to change it. I had to remind them.
