If only I had seen the many other negative reviews before — several customers experienced similar issues, but mine was the most extreme case of abuse of trust and power. On January 11, 2025, I test-drove, and on January 15, I purchased a “Certified” Mazda3 GS from Ken Shaw Toyota (2336 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6N 1K8). I have made an attempt to contact to the sales manager Mr. Joe Galluzzo regarding the per-negotiated APA cash purchase deal of a 2024/2025 Toyota Rav4 Trail. However, Mr. Joe Galluzzo sent me a read receipt, but did not respond to my request at all. He also has neglected my followup email, and I did not hear from him since. So, I went to Honda, and have got a very good deal on a 2024 Honda CRV AWD. I would not ever come back to Toyota again, and I would not recommend Ken Shaw Toyota specifically to anyone to deal with.
I placed a $1000 deposit on a Prius Prime and was told there is a long waiting list. I asked my salesperson if the deposit is refundable. He said legally not in Ontario but because there is such a long waiting list, they would gladly refund my deposit if I changed my mind as long as I hadn’t ordered extras such as rustproofing or if the licensing hadn’t already happened, etc. He said he could likely easily sell it to the next person on the waiting list since hybrids are in such demand. PLEASE READ THIS IN FULL BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANY VECHILE FROM KEN SHAW. I’ve included only the facts in this review. In July of 2021 Toyota Tacoma from Ken Shaw. I understood that this was during Covid and it may be delayed as a result. I was told on two occasions over the course of 11 months that my Tacoma was in production and would ship in the next 30 days. Mr. TOM VU is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. Each time that I encountered any issues with my Toyota Corolla Hatchback, I mistakenly took my vehicle to Ken Shaw Toyota, hoping that it will be a good repair, but it is to my dismay to discover each time that they do a very bad job on the vehicles and they cheated me each time..Also, it takes me a long time to travel there and their rudeness is totally unacceptable, in particular their unprofessionalism... Bought my vehicle in August 2021. It’s a Mercedes Metris, and now the starter is dead. Contacted Bob and Matthew, and no one helped giving the answer that they always tell their clients to get extra warranty which was NOT told to myself, or family members ghat was present. Now I will have to fork out 1,000$ on a vehicle that was present as if it was a good car; when in reality it’s a lemon. Would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Toyota Kenshaw.
Came in to look at the pre-owned lot and was given Anwar to show me a car I was interested in. At first, he was very energetic, and welcomed me to see the car, and give it a test drive. After the test drive, he asked if I were buying today/ at that moment and I said no as I still had an appointment with the new car lot with Ken Shaw Toyota, as well as other brands to consider, and to gain advice from family.
