Poor Service On Feb. 7, 2017, I sent my car (2013 Prius) to this dealer just for eng. oil change. The second day my car was found dead with all lights on. I towed my car to the dealership, they said engine oil was frozen inside intake. They charged me $497.02 for cleaning it up. The worst thing happened again right the next day (Feb 9.) and I was asked to tow it again (by my own cost) to the dealership where frozen engine oil inside found again. The dealership said it is caused by faulty PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) ... read more

Service Had a factory recall on my 2009 Tacoma for leaf springs. Made an appointment to have them replaced and figured I am due for an oil change anyway so why not let them do it at the same time. I have a 3" lift on the truck with mud terrain tires and asked that they do a tire rotation as well while it's there. I dropped the truck off the night prior and talked to the service manager "wilson" he said yes sir everything will be done. He called me at noon the next day and said due to the lift they could not replace the sprin... read more

Expensive non-service and poor advice I have to tell you about the wheel alignment I "didn't need". I was leaving on a lengthy road trip, took my car to Winnipeg's Crown Toyota and asked if I needed a wheel alignment. I was told I did not and to bring it back in August, but when I got to the west coast I had my relatively new tires completely bald. The BC tire dealer said I needed to replace all four tires! Even though I had low mileage, I was told they were not under warranty because they should have had a wheel alignment! ... read more

Need to replace a tire? Drive on spare for 2 weeks My tire kept loosing pressure. Covered by Auto Plus insurance, brought the vehicle to Scion Service. They installed a spare wheel, saying that a nail went through the side and tire was destroyed, so a claim for a new tire has been made and it should arrive shortly. After that, I was driving on spare for 10 days(!). When I finally came to service in person for some answers, they said that technician who installed the spare is not working there anymore, and they don't see any ... read more

Could have been easy but Pay attention to the following sales technique: ." Make Them Wait: This car salesman trick is not something to be proud of, but there are times when a salesman gets a customer that is negotiating extremely hard to get a great deal and the salesman will tell him he will be right back. The customer is assuming that he is going to talk to the sales manager to try and get the OK to make the sale when in fact the salesman is just taking a break. They might go to the back or the other side of the building ... read more

We had a very negative experience at this dealership. A young sales lady and her associate (another young lady) were our contacts at this car store. While they were polite and low key, for the most part, by the time we left their store we were very unhappy with the way they had treated us. WHY were we unhappy? We had to do some “reflecting” to determine just what our gripe was. Our dissatisfaction with Crown Toyota Scion boiled down to two issues: 1. They did not listen to us. We told them: o We do not enjoy shopping. We are... read more

After you read this you may have second thoughts on going to : Crown Toyota 680 - 1717 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba 1) In July I received a phone call saying my car was on the list for airbag replacement and not to use my front passenger seat until it was replaced, because if I did I could be liable as I had been notified. That being said I complied immediately. I was also told I would get a call in a month with more info. I never received that call and so I called the # back myself to see what was happening. At that ... read more

Not a positive experience While recently in the market for a used truck to pull a camper, my wife and I decided we would like to look at a Toyota Tundra. When we entered the dealership and found a salesman, we indicated the truck we wanted to test drive as we had already viewed their used inventory online. Adam was helpful in arranging a test drive for us right away. After driving the truck, we decided to talk price as we were interested in purchasing it. After making a reasonable cash offer for the truck (because I do not p... read more
