This place is a no go especially if you have to deal with Peter. He is an arrogant, useless individual who doesn't care what you think of him as he is "important". He ignored me several times when I had made (in advance) appointments with hi, the fobbed my of with "Tammy" who has very little product knowledge, but thinks that her cuteness will overcome the lack.

After a two hour process to see the difference on a one year old used vehicle and my trade they had the nerve to compare my vehicle to one very low on auto trader located in Ontario. That's not professional. For every low price I could find two high priced. Sleazy way to do business. Also advertise a lower price based on the kick back they get from the bank for getting the car loan. Again very sleazy. Not a dealership I would want to deal with.
I was in Sunshine Toyota last time a couple of months ago with Toyota Camry 2008 for regular maintenance service. In this service technicians "found" an oil leak and quoted me to more than 350$ for repair. Since 2 months ago i bought a vehicle from Woodhaven Toyota, i've called them and made an appointment to check the leak. They checked the vehicle 2 months ago AND 2 days ago and didn't find any leak. Buying a new vehicle is supposed to be a happy experience. Not one which you feel like you have been "taken for a ride". We had entered the dealership and approached by Wade. He was very pleasant and knew his vehicles. We told him what we were interested in and arranged for a test drive of the vehicle we were looking at. My husband and I had made an appointment with Sunshine Toyota about 2 weeks before our appointment date. We had informed them that we did intend on purchasing a Tacoma. Sunshine had the best price for what we wanted from all of the other Toyota Dealers in Winnipeg. We arrived early for our appointment after we had just arrived in the city from our vacation 'Out East'. I decided to buyout the leased car when the lease was up. That was when the pain began. First, I did Manitoba government safety inspection in the service department. I found the price was not right since I checked the MPI website. MPI allows an inspection station charge maximum $55+GST for a safety inspection. But they charged extra shop supplies and PST. It would hurt the Service desk staff to crack a smile. Women watch out when requesting repairs. When you get a large repair estimate get a second opinion.
