I felt rushed. I had to make a deposit for $1000.00 to allegedly hold the vehicle. Things didn’t work out and I asked for my deposit and the dealership refused. Their excuse was my deposit went towards some protection work they put on the truck. I kept insisting I didn’t want the extra work done. They held my deposit for some stuff I didn’t even agree on.

I purchased a Toyota Highlander at CharlesGlen. The salesman was nice, patient, and tried hard for us. No issues there. Picking up the vehicle was O.K. I guess. There was a mistake with the registration they cleaned up quickly. A bit of waiting. The fellow showing us the features of the car was obviously in a hurry and was very vocal about being on a schedule. My wife was not amused. I was not happy with the service department. It was a 5-star service when I bought from this dealership. But the first service was terrible and unacceptable. I bought the four-year Platinum ECP for my 2025 RAV Hybrid Limited and I was told 6 free services in three years totally free including oil change. The first service, they charged me $153.93 for oil change. Then I was told the ECP does not cover oil change for every service. It was because the Hybrid model, oil change every 16,000 KM. You sold we a 2019 Rav4 a few months ago. The lift gate is now not working on the vehicle. I have checked Dr. Google and nothing has worked. I have called your Service Department and they said it would cost $188 per hour to diagnosis what is wrong with it. This is a known problem. It is all over the internet that their are liftgate problems with the Rav4. Why wasn't I told about this little problem before you sold me this vehicle? You guys are such a rip off artists!!

The 2015 Nissan Pathfinder I purchased had many problems. Yes they fixed it but it was a HUGE inconvenience. I had to negotiate and advocate for parts availability. They changed parts till the problem was gone. We had to bring it back three times. Finally the service manager rode with my wife and identified the knocking. The emergency break is now broken and needs replacement after six months.Do not give this dealer your buisness.

I had a terrible experience with Charlsglen Toyota. We signed a deal agreeing to basic model of RAV 4 XLE Hybrid back in Oct 2024 for 45 K$ and they cll and booked an appointment that the car is ready to pick up with price adjust to 2025 for 46K$. , but they completely disrespected our agreement. After everything was finalized, Alex the financial Manager demanded an extra $3,000 to "hold" the deal, with a vague promise to return it in 6 months if I didn’t sell my car. I had a terrible experience. I bought a car from them and asked them to inspect it. They provided an assessment indicating that everything was good, but the car had engine problems that were not reported in the evaluation. I returned less than a week later to explain the issue, and they did not acknowledge that the assessment was poorly conducted. I will never buy a car from them again. It was the worst experience that I have ever had.

Never buy tires or rims from them as they have zero warranty. If I buy tires and rims from Okay Tire, Foundation, Fountain Tire, Canadian Tire and even Costco, they warranty the products they sell and will do free repair. Not Charlesglen. Rims are only six years old and they tried to sell me a new set.

I had a very disappointing experience with Charlesglen Toyota dealership in Calgary. As a first-time car buyer, I trusted them to provide fair pricing and honest advice.
