In October I looked at a ford explorer xlt at the newroads Toyota I saw on line. I went and wanted to take for a test drive the vehicle would not start they boosted it and took it out when we got back stopped the car it would not start again went and talked to sales person and she said they would fix it. Got a call later in the week to say it it was running they replaced the battery took it out again. I am a senior who politely asked Nick( manager of parts) for a senior 's discount on a part I wished to order. He said that I would have to come in first( I was prepared to give my Visa) in order to verify that I am a senior. He went on to say that " anyone can fake being a senior". If this is what Toyota worries about, then I must say that they missed the boat on customer satisfaction with me.
Got a call today suv is in after waiting four months and today they tell me they are taking money off my trade in because I had to wait four months and put kms on my car. Customer service at its best. Many dealerships are delivering quicker, had I have known, I would never have stuck with this dealership. Just a heads up, you might want to check on your trade in value if your waiting….ps on the back of one of the pages nobody reads it’s in the fine print they tell me. One morning my car wouldn’t start so I boosted it with my wife’s car. Made an appointment with Newmarket Toyota to look at my battery and also perform a Service 3 as my car was due for its 24 month service. Bought a used Honda Accord here. Told the brakes would be done, they never were. Bad grinding while breaking as soon as driven off lot. So I made an appointment with the service department, and they tell me it’s just because it’s aftermarket brakes , and that is perfectly normal! Liars!
After 10 years with this dealer, I am leaving today. The service staff is rude. Maybe the dealer is big and they don't care one or two customers any more. For ten years, I have done my every service at this dealer. But today they told me that I didn't make appointment for my oil change. Seriously? Not mentioned I have never come without an appointment. And now they turn me home saying I don't have appointment for oil change. Then the staff gave me my key leaving my car inside AND ignore me. That's fine for me to leave.
