Gone for oil change but not satisfied with service! Went for oil change, after finishing oil change start the car and noticed low Tyre pressure alarm. Notified the person in the service dept so,he said it will cost you $109.00 + tax to reset the alarm. Other thing about Cabinet Filter, always want us to change it. Unbeliveable! Did not bother to look at why is the alarm.
Long wait and lost tires Waited 1 1/2 hour for scheduled service to remove winter tires. Car still in lineup. Left and returned few weeks later and they couldn't locate my tires after looking for 1 1/2 hours. On third visit tires replaced and dealer paid for small service fee but not for tire storage. Spent total of 5 hours to complete simple tire change.
Cabin filter scam. Etc. Beware the cabin filter scam.....they said I needed a new cabin filter and the guy had a dirty one in his hand....however when I looked into my car they had not opened the lower glove box to remove mine. They also said that I needed new tires but when I went into the service department to look at mine they suddenly said that I could probably get another season out of them......same thing happened with the same tires three years ago.
Very disappointing service and organization I lost a day of work because I had a service scheduled on my car. After waiting for a few minutes, I was told that the service had to be cancelled because the part I needed for the car had been back ordered. They should have let me know about it instead of making me spend my time and lose a day at work. Also, some of the staff is really rude . From now on I'm taking my car to Toyota Cambridge where looks like they care a bit more about their costumers
Not impessed Took car in for airbag recall. They honored the recall but airbag light is still on. Indicated non-related issue = chargeable service to diagnose after they had already parked the car outside. I felt their recall repair was incomplete as they should have advised me of the sensor light issue while the car was still in the shop with the root cause. Terrible Experience This is my 6th, lease / purchase through Guelph Toyota, and I have referred countless clientele to the dealership as they have been great to deal with for my first 5 transactions. Not so much on the 6th. I was assured I would have full compatibility with my Apple devices through the onboard head unit, and this is not so. At best, I have 50% compatibility, and that's only some of the time. This was the only reason I opted for a more expensive package. Financing was a pain in the xxx Bought a new car from Matt. Excellect product advisor. Sale went well, all questions asked and answered. Down from hill there. To make a long story short, if I was the GM of this dealership, I would fire the finance manager. A complete moron and screwed everything up
Oil Change / Tire Rotation and inspection for frontend noise Service Tech couldn't even spend 5 seconds to inspect my brakes on my 2011 Toyota Highlander when the tires were already off getting rotated, a month later we were metal on metal of the vehicle my wife drives daily with my 2 kids. Had to replace my rear pads and rotor.. went elsewhere.. So much for safety checks at this dealership, you'd think they'd want to make money on more jobs.
