Unable to get through to service department My vehicle needed an oil change - simple enough. I phoned a total of 5 times over two days to get connected to the service department, but nobody picked up. I phoned the manager and left a message - no response. I live 3 minutes from Burlington Toyota, but will have to now travel 30 minutes to Ancaster Toyota. Very disappointed.
No ownership I was sold a new ‘09 Matrix with the incorrectly engineered 2.4L engine. Short block replaced in ‘14 (class action lawsuit)engine toast Sept 17. No ownership taken by dealership or Toyota Canada. Was told my car was ‘a lemon’. Car serviced regularly for 8 years by this dealership only.
Different World I visited the dealership 3 times trying to get my car appraised and to look at a pre-owned Corolla. Awful vehicle, awful service My 2010 RAV4 is a horrible car. Continuous recalls since I got it. Takes forever to actually get the official letter so they can fix the thing. They have the attitude that recalls are nothing they should be embarrassed or sorry about, but simply a fact of life. WRONG. Try building a quality car and you won't have recalls.
