Wish I never bought a Nissan after dealing with these guys. The Service Manager shouldn't be in the industry. Blamed me for issues with the car making at least 3 excuses and talked down to me in front of the GM all with a little smirk on his face. Do not do business with this dealership.
Service Be very careful when dealing with the new service manager at Barrie Nissan. He is dishonest and will overcharge for labour (among other things). This is the first issue I've had with the service department, in the past the staff has always been honest and very helpful. Due to this recent experience we are cutting all ties with Barrie Nissan.
Issue on SUV less than 6 months of purchase I bought a 2011 Nissan rouge in February with 40 km 1 owner, runs good, within the first 4 months the buttons on my steering stop working, brought it in to Nissan, they said no big issue will take care of it. Problem after Problem After Problem. where do i start?... Made a 2 car deal rogue and frontier.. Don't take your car here After a month in the shop (thIs time) out another $1500 and we still have a 7 month old car that fills with water, the only thing they worked hard at was denying a warrantee claim. The customers age and gender seems to make a huge difference the way they are treated
Try but don't buy without checking with Orillia Dealer The sales lady (Meghan) was very thorough and informative, but was unable to get the General Manager to negotiate on the price other than promising 2 free oil changes on an almost $20,000 purchase. It's worth talking to Meghan and to get all the information, but before you buy, take a 20 minute drive to Experience Nissan in Orillia and talk to Ken MacKnight or any one in sales for a comparative price. Experience Nissan will negotiate and will probably save you money.
Do not bring your Nissan to Barrie Nissan, their mechanics are incompetent, they could not do a simple warranty repair on my 370Z and forced me to keep bringing my car back to them because it was not repaired correctly. Finally I gave up and took my 370Z to Village Nissan in Unionville and their Service Dept was amazing, they repaired in 45 minutes what Barrie Nissan couldn't repair properly in over 30 days. Brought my new Nissan truck here for warranty work multiple times in order to fix the same problem over and over again. Technician(s) damaged the truck upon one warranty repair and failed to disclose the damage caused by their poor workmanship. One visit the truck was brought in for 2 separate repairs and only one was performed and I was sent out the door only to return again a week later to finally finish the job they "forgot" to do.
