Bought a truck and it needs a motor replacement a year later. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
We went in to inquire about a vehicle. The sales person was busy and understandably couldn’t come over to us, but we saw numerous other people coming in and out of offices etc and no one even said hello or can I help you or I’m sorry someone will be with you shortly. We ended up leaving and we’re disappointed.
As a courtesy, every vehicle we have ever owned whether it was new or used, under warranty or not, a Toyota or Honda product has always been returned washed and cleaned by all of the dealerships that have ever serviced our vehicles. I purchased brand new Highlander Platinum from High River Toyota on July 16, 2022. The dealership was extremely rude. As part of the purchase agreement (that included the costs for all the extra packages that were sold as mandatory if I wanted the only vehicle in their showroom), High River Toyota agreed to replacing brakes on my Camry. Same experience as the review before us. There was $10,000 in mandatory "options" (maintenance and protection packages) on top of MSRP. Said they couldn't remove any because they were already ordered even though the bulk of them were service and insurance packages. Flat out told us that they aren't moving enough vehicles to make a profit these days so the $1000 tire insurance package is mandatory so they can make some money back. Took and unauthorized a mount of money as a deposit. I agreed to $500 to hold a vehicle, they took a $2500 deposit despite me putting in writing that I only want to put $500 deposit. Now they are refusing to answer my calls
Placed an order in August 2021, telling the salesperson I needed the car soon by end of September 2021. Decided to go with them because they had the lowest price. The dealership couldn't give an accurate estimated delivery date, but every time I tried to cancel would keep telling me my order had high priority in the province and that it's coming, it's coming. I purchased my RAV4 from High River Toyota based off recommendations from friends. I was drawn in by the dealership's offer of vehicle pick up and drop off for servicing that would negate any negatives of dealing with a dealership well away from my home in Calgary. I bought a used Toyota from their dealership last fall and the customer service was appalling. I am a woman who apparently made the huge mistake of not bringing a man with her, it was the most stereotypical sleezy car salesman experience ever. He tried to tell me that the car I wanted was actually cost over $1000 more than the price advertised on their website.
