New vehicle purchase I recently purchases a new car from Vandermeer Toyota. I am not familiar with cars or the purchasing process but the staff at Toyota were EXTREMELY knowledgable and helpful. They took the time to answer my many questions and in person and through e-mail. The service staff were also extremely helpful and provide exceptional service as they were professional and friendly. Great Car Buying Experience! Just bought my first 2016 Rav4 and I LOVE IT! Thank-you Joe & Lisa! Toyota brakes I am very upset with the service i got for my 2016 highlander i bought in 2017 I have driven 24k and all the brakes are shot vehicle is still under warranty but they will not cover anything and presented me with a bill of $ 1381 to repair .This is the last time in my life i will ever be in this dealership and will advise all my friends to do the same.PS vehicle is great otherwise.
Misleading Used Car Sales I was interested in trading my current vehicle for a used one available at Vandermeer Toyota. I drove 3 hours to make the trade as the price of my trade in and used vehicle were negotiated beforehand. Upon arriving I wàs given the identical vehicle but wrong model year to test drive. Once I realized the mileage didn't line up I went to inspect the actual vehicle I was going to purchase. Misleading Ad for used vehicle - DO NOT TRUST THEM! Went to see a FJ Cruiser they had listed. Ad stated "excellent condition", clean and "dealer maintained". I even contacted the dealership before I went to confirm. They had the vehicle listed about 4,000 higher than similar vehicles but the fact it was dealer maintained and in such "great shape" made me choose to drive over 100 KM to see it. Misleading I went to Vandermeer Toyota to inquire on a used Scion TC. I had two friends with me in order to protect myself from potential xx. Little did they know that my first friend is a Defence Counsel for Belairdirect, Wawanesa, TD Insurance, Intact, and Allstate to name a few. My second friend was a General Manager at Kia Motors. Avoid this Dealership! I never write review like this but feel like I need to warn others about this cheap and rude dealership. This dealership's cars are very overpriced. I was looking for a used Highlander and the cars were at least 10% higher than nearby dealerships. The car salesman was also very rude - he was on his phone the whole time!
