Bought a Toyota Truck mostly due to it's touted resale value, Turned out not to be true. Got $10,500 more for my trade at another dealership, (not Toyota) I also purchased extended warranties when we bought the original vehicle and were told it would add value to our truck. Dealers would not allow for any extra value due to the warranty even though there was 90,000km and 40 months remaining. Over $5000 wasted. Don't fall for it.
Toyota Penticton charges 187 dollars for basic oil change on a brand new Tacoma. I had the same service done at Richmond Toyota and Langley Toyota for 111-118 dollars taxes in. I will not be taking my vehicle to the dealer again as the service agents had nothing to say all he said it is family run business. What has this to do with pricing??? Bad service
Once they get the sale they aren’t interested in problems that arise as I have a 2022 Toyota crossover that gets Road debris on top of engine Road salt that I feel will cause problems like corrosion over time to electrical components they told me to go away we’re done here This is due to lack of weather stripping above the headlights Even Toyota Canada was not interested
Their service time is extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory. I spent over $2000 in hotels due to Penticton Toyota taking unnecessarily long on a known issue. Typical turnaround time is between the same day and 3 days for this service needed, this took over two weeks! There is a frame recall on certain models of Toyota Tacomas, as per Toyota’s VIN checker, my Tacoma qualifies.
