Service is an absolute joke. Tried charging me for a warrantied sensor job. One guy told me one hour labour. Then the MANAGER calls me to tell me they need more work done to calibrate the sensors. went from 2 hours of labour then when i call him back 5 minutes later to ask more questions they decide to make 3 hours of labour! 2 different guys giving me 3 different answers. Why pay for warranty if i got to pay for all this. Do not recommend, bring it anywhere else than Laking.
Terrible experience with service dept. , technician broke timing chain cover while trying to replace my A/C compressor, had to order parts from USA, kept truck 15 days. $ 1,900.00 this time, $ 1,390.00 a month earlier to replace PRNDL shifter, technician broke first unit and had to order a new one, sent home in rental again! When I picked up the truck it was filthy and gutless; was in limp mode!
Recently had some work done on a recalled airbag and needed a wheel bearing replaced that was making a lot of noise. I received a call and was told during the disassembly of the caliper and mounting bracket on the right rear wheel (to access the wheel bearing) that the bolts were previously cross threaded and ALL the threads pulled out of the mounting bracket. Terrible service and unreliable mechanics.. If you must have them do service.. Check their work. Had a wheel fall off twice. And other damage to vehicle.. Just had a recall done and peices tjey removed no longer line up.. Too bad next dealer is a 100 miles away. But i will travel it if i ever neef anything serviced. Never again beware!!
Terrible Service Go to North Bay, they treat you like gold compared to this place. Bought two toyotas at Laking, but will NEVER deal with their service department. Been there a few times too many to get work done and every time had to deal with their miserable staff. Went to get a recall done on leaf springs, they wanted to charge me for 4 new u-bolts because I have a lift. They would not even attempt to save the ones I have on now. brural service They told us we can't get a loaner car when bringing in our 2016 Suv for repairs on something they screwed up on and leaving it there for a day from the night before. It's very inconvenient when you live across town and don't have wheels especially when we work a two different areas and have two young kids ........I'm not happy with this very poor service
Why so bitter with outsiders Didn't purchase my vehicle there and was met with cursing from service manager after asking to look at part under warranty. The head mechanic was top notch but the service people need a lesson or two in common courtesy, especially this Leo fellow who headed service at the time. I will certainly purchase another Toyota, but Laking has convinced me to never EVER purchase a vehicle from there. 2014 corolla laking toyota is a pure joke told me i had to leave my car there over a weekend for a flat tire they wanted me to drive on a spare tire for 3 days in the winter and with my 8 year old in the back .....turns out they damaged my car 6000$ and then tried to hide it from me.....my radio just stopped working it took 3 weeks and 4 visits to get it right and then said my car didn't come with sirius xm which it did.....i will never buy a car from them again there service is just garbage.....hope this helps everyone out
