great atmosphere! I went into Clarington Nissan and purchased a brand new Nissan Titan SL from a sales associate Braden , he was wonderful! Never have I had such a great experience purchasing a car. The staff was friendly and I appreciate everything Braden, Rick and Jane did for us! Good work guys!
I leased a 2021 Nissan Rogue platinum in 2021 and had a decent experience overall; even wrote a review stating that. I've since then changed my tune. My lease was up this year (2024) and despite calling the dealership NUMEROUS times and leaving at least 3 messages over 3 weeks not a single soul called me back. Bought a used vehicle at Ajax Nissan. Which had been in an accident prior to my ownership. Thought I would go to Clarington for warranty work as it is closer to home. Charged me $67 to take 20 minutes to diagnose 2 wheel bearing replacements and wanted to charge me $1100 plus tax. Stated that it was accident related and wasn’t covered. Went back to Ajax and fixed ONE wheel bearing, under warranty. Don’t ever trust the service department. Good old fashioned crooks
Absolute worst sales service ever. I never write reviews but after the worst experience ever people need to know. Went to buy a Nissan Armada from Denis which upon our first visit was friendly and kind. The vehicle I was buying was out on demo but the used car manager inspected my vehicle and gave me a price for it. It was a fair price and I was ready to proceed with the purchase of the Armada. I wish I can ignore the bad experience...but I can't They advertise...new management ..new attitude. I can't imagine how bad was the attitide before because what I experienced, was horrible!!!! My experience has four stages. 1)Pre sale...incredible, friendly and positive. 2)During sale...confusing and being handled by 4 different staff, arrogant attitude (take it or leave it). dishonest, nasty sales guys Tom and Johnathan are nasty sales guys. They never give proper answers to questions and keep blaming each other for their wrong doings. Their level of unprofessionalism is disgraceful to all sales people out there.
Warranty debacle Seems I fell through every crack they had..or found. Not happy. .assured it wasn't their usual service and they let me down again. Don't take a car there if you didn't buy it there as you don't count..even if it is under warranty.
POOR SERVICE Purchased one of the first vehicles sold at this dealership (a Pathfinder), the 5th Nissan we have owned. Took our Altima hybrid there for service and when it was returned it suddenly had Clarington advertising plate covers on it! Since then we have routinely had servicing done there with issues every single time. They always want to do more than what the vehicle was brought in for. Always takes forever for even an oil change. Rip off service department Got an estimate on a blown break line, wanted $1000 to fix it and said that it would take 6 to 8 hours to fix. I had another auto shop in town fix the break line for the price of $241. When told what Nissan wanted, the mechanic laughed. Thieves!
