lost deposit check We went to the dealer looking for a truck, found one and put a $5,000 cheque down as a deposit for the truck, the truck just came into to the dealer, they checked out the truck and found there was a major problem with it and didn't want to sell it to us, they where going to sell it at the auction. We also found a car we liked and wanted to buy it, all they could give us off was $10. 00 from the asking price. We then decide not to buy. We asked for the cheque back but they seemed to lost it, or maybe they s... read more

Business response:

Hi Rick, I am happy to hear that we were able to help you find the right car at Acura, but I’m very disappointed to hear about your experience at Nissan. I would like to extend an apology to you for any stress and inconvenience this may have caused. First and foremost, our top priorities are making sure that your vehicle is functional and safe. We are always extremely thorough with our inspections and we would not want to sell you a truck with a major problem that would cause you grief down the road. Secondly, we strive to t... read more

Old-school cartoon-style dealership I had done all my research beforehand, went in with money in my pocket to look at a Rogue. I was almost tackled by a salesperson in the parking lot on my way in, which wasn't a nice start. I told the salesperson exactly what I wanted, colour, model, every detail, and I wanted his lowest price in 15 minutes with no goofy negotiating. I was seated at his desk and he asked for my drivers' license. "Why?" I asked. "I don't want a test drive, just a price." He said it was just to "open a quote"... read more

Business response:

I’m disappointed to hear that you had such a frustrating encounter with our Sales staff. It sounds like there was a miscommunication during your visit and you felt pressured to agree to a purchase. That’s definitely not the kind of first impression that we want to make with our customers. We are normally known for our professionalism and straight-forward honesty throughout the car purchasing process, so it is disheartening to hear that you felt our services lacking in those key areas that we pride ourselves on. If you would ... read more

Never going back to Campus . In Sept of 2015 I bought a 2013 Leaf, Campus lied to me about how often these get stolen (like never) to sell me theft insurance, and then sold me an extended warranty for a gasoline engine NOT the electric one I bought. I asked for a phone call back, and no one has ever called me. Be aware according to law you have 30 days to cancel any extended warranty they sell you, and I sure did. They also said I would get a full battery report, and I haven't received it yet either. It's all about how much ... read more

Double check their work yourself if you can I don't like writing bad reviews but in this case I feel I have to. Their front desk service is pretty good and fast but my main concern is the work their technicians do. I can only characterize it as sloppy. On one occasion they overfilled oil by about a 1 cm above maximum. On another occasion they overfilled brake fluid well over max level allowed. Makes you wonder if the rest of the work done on the car was adequately. If you still choose to service your car there, make sure you... read more

Business response:

Hi Tony, I am very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We have extremely high standards for the work that our technicians undertake however, there's always room for improvement, so your feedback will certainly be taken into consideration. If there's anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to call Craig Hygh, Fixed Operations Manager at (250) 413-7371.

Peter Luke...passive aggressive weasel Had a rotten experience with a salesman named Peter Luke. He was very passive aggressive and I caught him in a couple of lies. What sealed the deal and had me walking out the front door was when I heard him mention to another sales man that my wife had " a nice rack" Horrible experience.

Pushy, uninterested in what you need, not completely honest Salesmen are very pushy to get you to buy a car, even when it doesn't fit your needs, they don't really care. They told us the car had certain safety devices fitted that we had asked about, and showed us that these had been checked on their inspection sheet, but something didn't feel right, so we did a little of our own research to check the build records for the car, we discovered that the model they were trying to get us to buy didn't have any of the safety items ... read more

Shorty work and dirty results Took the car in to have the radiator fixed which could have resulted from an inappropriate hose being put on from another Nissan dealership. On getting the car back there was transmission fluid inside the car and greasy shoe marks all over the carpet. Lack of attention to detail. The destroyed car interior has happened on multiple visits. Nissan victoria, you need to clean up your act.

Rust Bucket Cover up We were going to look for a second pathfinder with a few more options than our basic model. The dealer called to say a QX4 had come on the lot. So we went to see it, they offered the unit for a test drive so we said yes and took the vehicle out. Besides many odd issues we decided to have the vehicle independently checked over. Well as soon as it went on the hoist we new some issues existed. The underside of the vehicle was nothing but rust, the coil springs were rusted out, a lot of the running gear was ... read more

I was in a market for a new car and narrowed down my choice to a particular sedan model. after doing some extensive market research went to see what is available at Campus Nissan and was met with a sales person after 10-15minutes of peruzing around. The salesman claimed to be in car sales for quite sometime (with Nissan Stealership for last few years) but during the test drive when asked some basic questions about the product his response was that he would need to look it up when returning to the Stealership!! None the less ... read more
