Not customer oriented Up until now I have been taking my Lexus to Sun Country Toyota for it servicing. Today I found out that I am no longer welcome to bring my Lexus in for servicing as the owner decided he did not want to service Lexus models anymore.... I hope the owner knows the closes Lexus dealers in Kelowna..... Seeing my car had been serviced there for 4 years you would assume they would make and exception for existing customers? Nope! Not a good experience Bought a used car here that had gone through their inspection. It had a really weird smell coming from the engine but we were told it was the cleaner used when the engine was cleaned so didn’t think much of it until the smell never went away. Took it to our mechanic and the alternator belt had been tightened so tight it’s burnt the alternator bearing and now the alternator is wrecked. Totally ripped off I bought a used Jeep Patriot North with 30,000 km on it, was told by the sales manager that it had been gone over completely. Paid a pretty big price for this piece of garbage. Well, the first rain storm after we got home, water was leaking through the rear dome light. A lot of water, we put a pail down and it was about 2" of water by morning and the rear headliner was soaked. Completely ripped off Purchased a used vehicle which I was told had gone through a full inspection, realized on the drive home that the driveline made a lot of noise, as warranty did not cover the repair because nothing was visibly "broken" just heavily worn, Sun Country Toyota replaced the worn component with a used, inferior branded part, not Toyota parts which you would expect from a Toyota dealership, after just 3 months the replaced part had catastrophic failure. Poor sales experience Extremely poor sales experience. I would never go back and I would never recommend anyone to go there. Advised the salesman what I was looking for and he proceeded to tell me otherwise. When I made an offer for the vehicle, he did not even present it to the Sales Manager, just said that there was no mark up and that was the best he could do. Funny thing is I had found the exact vehicle that I had wanted all along elsewhere and was able to negotiate A LOT lower price.

Poor service Love my Toyota vehicle, but the customer service policies here are bad, especially compared to my prior experiences with Kamloops Honda. Purchasing my vehicle, I was mislead regarding pricing a number of times, and almost felt belittled; overall a negative buying experience. After the purchase, I never felt any sort of customer appreciation, and they never attempted to make things right. Sales experience was terrible. Salesman indicated the vehicle I wanted was available and they could have it for me in three days. We did the deal and after signing the paperwork the manager told the vehicle would be here in 10 -14 days if they could find one that was available. Told him what the salesman said and he told me I was mistaken. I went outside and 411'd the Vernon dealership and they arranged a deal for me within three days.
