I purchased a 2022 Honda Civic from Acura Gatineau last month. During the sale, I was assured that the brakes had been serviced. However, from day one, I noticed a persistent noise that sounded like stuck brake pads. I didn’t expect it to be a brake issue so soon, but I took the car to my trusted mechanic, who showed me significant rust buildup and confirmed the brakes were not properly serviced. These guys don’t honour their warranty. Checked the MDX a month before the end of the warranty and they said the car is perfect doesn’t need anything, came back a week after the warranty expired because of front end noise they told me it needs 2 front strut assemblies 2 links and a control arm , all were covered under the warranty , how did they miss that 5 weeks prior I don’t know
Aside from the receptionist, it was a bad experience. The sales agent was arrogant, doing calculations on his own and traiting people mediocre. I would never recommend them.
I had a great experience at this dealership! Danny and the manager were extremely helpful with my car, and I really appreciated their excellent customer service. I live in Ottawa and drove about 25 minutes to Gatineau definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend
